Fuddland
On one of the clearer days I’d experienced since arriving, I walked up to one of the local hill-top parks to get my first real view of the city I now call home. It was quite an eye-opener.
Although I knew this was an industrial town, and that the factories were not far off, to see their vast, sprawling pipelines and chimneys in such close proximity to where I live and work was still a surprise; but having said that, I’m also surprised it’s not as terrible to live here day-to-day as you might expect from these photos.
To clarify: it’s not mist. It’s all smog. In the second, wider, panorama, on the far right you can see my apartment complex. I’d say about twenty percent of the people wear surgical masks when out and about, but I’ve not felt the need to join them—yet.

Great pictures David, both would make excellent banners should you be thinking of a redesign.
