A plate of hóng shaō tǔ dòu

So that I can associate the name with the dish and get better at ordering what I want, I’m trying to take photos of the food I have in our local restaurants. So far I have remembered to do this just once.

This is hóng shaō tǔ dòu: fried potato chunks in a sticky spicy sauce with carrots and green chilli pepper.

Dammit. A long evening in the office stretches ahead, dinner is far away and you tease me with THIS!! Ohh heavenly joy… fried potato, sticky spicy stuff with other bits…. looks and sounds delish.

MAN you should hear my stomach rumbling.
