Fruitcake

A strangely-flavoured cake

The cake for Tara’s surprise leaving party: chocolate icing, topped with grapes, kiwi fruit, peach, pineapple, pear, and … erm, tomato—garnished with a sprig of parsley. Okay, so tomato is technically a fruit [but not legally, at least in the post-1883 USA], but parsley? Bizarre.

hah, gotta love arkansas: “takes both sides by declaring the “South Arkansas Vine Ripe Pink Tomato” to be both the state fruit and the state vegetable in the same law”

Reminds me of that woman in the Vicar of Dibley…

Jann, that’s exactly what I was going to say. It just needs a prawn and lettuce filling to finish it off ;-)
